Abstract
EL Guendouzi and Faridi present their comments on our recent publication on the calculation of the liquid chemical speciation and thermodynamic properties of the HF-H2O system at different temperatures and concentrations. The authors claim that there is some confusion in our approach and concept. The assumptions used in the calculation are incorrect and there are some errors in the comprehension of the phenomena manifested in the chemical speciation solution. We appreciate the time taken by El Guendouzi and Faridi to evaluate and comment on our previous work, and we would like to clarify a few points in the present work.
