Reply from the Authors: We appreciate the comments offered by Ikeda et al. to our article concerning factors hampering diagnosis of neuro-Behcet's disease. In response to their question concerning the temporal relationship between neurologic and ophthalmologic disease, only one of our patients had documented active ocular involvement at the time of active neurologic disease (this patient had active uveitis during an episode of aseptic meningitis).
