Abstract
I would like to thank Mr Milne-Home for his discussion. I agree that a weighted average of the discharge rates in a step drawdown test will give a more accurate value of T than a mere arithmetic mean of the discharge rates (p. 139). Mr Milne-Home's adaption of Sternbergs' work is of great value because it allows an accurate measurement of this weighted mean discharge rate.
