Abstract

The article considers the role of repertoire policy in the development of the skill of instrumental musicians, as well as the features of the formation of repertoire policy at the present stage, in the context of post-industrial social relations. It is shown that one of the main trends in modern instrumental music is synthesis, in the broad sense of the word: the synthesis of arts, the synthesis of various genres and directions of music, that is, the synthesis in the sense of dialogue and flexibility of the musical space. The phenomenon of experimental music and its influence on the conceptualization of the skill of a musician-instrumentalist and repertoire policy are considered, in particular, within the concept of neoconceptualism.
