Abstract

Tasmania is the island state of australia, located approximately 42° south of the equator off the southern mainland coast. Although Tasmania has abundant hydrogeneration capacity, it has recently achieved an instantaneous penetration of inverter-based resources (IBRs), exceeding 90%, in a system with a typical demand of around 1,200 MW.
