Abstract
The experimental work examined the efficiency of Na2-EDTA solution to remove copper from the polluted soil. The results showed Maximum extraction efficiency when used Na2-EDTA- as extracting solution was at pH 5.5, as compared with the pH 8 for the polluted soil. The extraction efficiency for copper ions from the polluted soil were approximately the same values with increase liquid/solid (L/S) ratio (ranged from L/S = 10 to L/S = 40).
