Abstract

(Abstracted from Am J Obstet Gynecol 2023;228:726.e1–726.e11) Remote patient monitoring (RPM) is a type of telehealth that enables the remote management of patients' health in real time and between office visits. In pregnant patients, studies on the use of telehealth technologies, such as RPM or smartphone-based feedback, to manage diabetes mellitus (DM) have been limited. Some studies have shown that telehealth technologies are not worse than standard management.
