Abstract

The article describes the laboratory complex for studying the principles of automated process control systems (APCS) power plants implementation. The laboratory complex includes both the equipment of the control object and all the main components of modern APCS: sensors, actuators, programmable logic controllers with Input/Output (I/O) modules, workstations. The laboratory can be used both in person and remotely 24/7. The principles of organizing remote access to the laboratory complex equipment using a remote desktop and a video surveillance system are described. An important feature of the complex is an unlimited list of tasks due to a combination of various software control objects and digital exchange protocols.
