Abstract

The paper is devoted to diagnostic tasks in human-machine control systems of automated process control systems (APCS) of nuclear power plants (NPP). Diagnostics of NPP equipment and systems is an important task to ensure the safety of NPP operation and allows to improve economic performance. The paper presents the organization of diagnosing the power unit, describes the diagnostic tasks to be solved, decomposes the power unit into diagnostic objects, and offers the connection between the diagnostic processes and the operating modes of the power unit. The paper presents the structure of the diagnostic intelligent information support system for operating personnel, its construction principles, and the interaction between the power unit and diagnostic systems. The developed principles for constructing such a diagnostic system are applied in the development of information tasks for the upper-level systems of APCS, which provide an integral representation of the results of diagnosing equipment and systems of the NPP power unit.
