Abstract

Electrocardiography (ECG) is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that records the electrical activity of the heart. It is a valuable tool for diagnosing a variety of heart conditions, including arrhythmias, heart failure, and myocardial infarction. This review paper explores the landscape of Real-time Electrocardiogram (ECG) Monitoring Systems via the Internet, analyzing advancements, challenges, and future prospects in this domain. The study investigates the integration of ECG monitoring systems with internet connectivity, enabling real- time data transmission and analysis for remote healthcare applications. Examining the utilization of IoT frameworks, particularly Raspberry Pi and Arduino, the review elucidates their role in establishing connectivity and data transmission protocols. It assesses the impact of IoT-enabled ECG systems on enhancing patient care, enabling telemedicine, and improving healthcare accessibility.
