Abstract

Possibilities of double dispersion representation for matrix elements are discussed. Conditions sufficient for invalidity of the representation are presented. These conditions include the case in which the region where the function is real is bounded by some piece of the Landau curve and and the case in which this region is bounded with only one variable singularity and a hypersurface entirely attached to parts of the Landau curve from the region of virtual singularities where cuts overlap.
