Abstract

It is shown, that the problem of existence of spurious resonances in tasks of diffraction waveguide waves on various discontinues is stipulated by incorrect representation of matrix elements of the linear algebraic equations system (SLAE). This mistake can be rather simply corrected due to correct representation of SLAE matrix elements which has no singularities. The efficiency of such approach is shown by results of numerical calculations
