Abstract
We consider a new type of bifurcation at infinity. In the case presen¬ ted the linear part of our problem is normal and does not depend on a parameter. Multiplicity results are obtained in a neighborhood of an asymptotic bifurcation point. Some examples are given for periodic and two point bound¬ ary value problems. The null space of the linear part can have an arbitrary finite dimension.
