Abstract

The emergency measures taken in the context of the covid-19 pandemic are an opportunity, in the field of Law and Religion, to examine the legal conformity of these restrictions to religious freedom, but also, more fundamentally, to observe, from the point of view of Religious Studies, the growing difficulties for a (post-modern) law to grasp religions and their mutations, both in their specificities but also in their diversities. © 2020 Universite Catholique de Louvain.
