Abstract
Based on equivalent simplification of distribution network, an effective method was described to identify the faults' effect on load points' reliability accounting for islanded operation in this paper. According to the characteristics of distributed generators (DGs) and annual average load curve, the corresponding probability models can be formulated. On this basis, an improved sequential Monte Carlo simulation method was proposed to make the reliability evaluation of distribution network considering intentional islanding. The proposed method has been tested on feeder F4 of IEEE-RBTS Bus 6. The results show that the proposed method has better efficiency in reliability evaluation of distribution network.
