Abstract

With the rapid and continuous development of network technology, a multiprocessor system, consisting of multiple processors and communication links, plays an significant role in big data era. The topology of a multiprocessor system is a basic architecture of great influence on the network performance. Multiprocessor systems should have some good performances such as low communication costs, high network reliability, and friendly resource sharing. Therefore, designing a high-performance network architecture is of great significance to multiprocessor systems. In this paper, we propose a more general class of balanced hypercubes with two more general edge-disjoint sets of perfect matchings as cross edges. Then we explore some basic properties of GBHn. Furthermore, we show the connectivity, super connectivity, extra connectivity and (extra) diagnosability of GBHn, respectively.
