Relevance of Swami Vivekananda's philosophy in India's renaissance

Abstract

The 19th century is considered to be the century of religious and social renaissance in India. During this period, people influenced by western education started testing social traditions, religion, customs and cultural traditions on the touchstone of logic and tried to give a new direction to the society. Swami Vivekananda's place in this context is very important. Swami Vivekananda has played an important role in the field of social, religious and political renaissance in India. A great man thinks, understands and expresses his views about the situation of his time. The poverty, education, agriculture, women empowerment and other major problems that existed in Swami Vivekananda's time have not ended even today. Vivekananda had also thought about them at that time and also suggested ways to deal with them, but today's ruling people do not have the time to pay attention to them. Not only this, these learned men have also created different types of Vivekanandas according to their convenience.
