Abstract
In the cognitive relay network, due to the different fading characteristics of communication links, not all relay nodes have constructive impacts on the system performance. A relay selection algorithm is proposed to obtain the minimum relay transmission power while satisfying the secondary user SINR requirements and interference temperature constraints. The algorithm first introduces l1 norm as the approximation of l0 norm, then constructs a minimum relay transmission power constraint problem to select appropriate relays. Simulation results show that the algorithm can efficiently conduct relay selection with mild system transmission power increase over traditional full cooperation cognitive relay network.
