Abstract
Abstract This chapter addresses the questions of how the important parameters of reproduction and early life history are interrelated, both within and between species of Conus. They include adult body size, egg size, egg capsule size and number of eggs per capsule, fecundity, developmental mode, and dispersal ability. Here we synthesize and interpret the basic data presented in Chapter 3 and summarized in tabular form in the Appendix.
