Abstract

As early as the 1960s, Ball State University had empowered a committee devoted to the needs of students with disabilities. Its history of promoting accessibility continues to earn accolades, including a 2019 ranking by College Magazine as the nation's top institution for students with physical disabilities. Courtney Jarrett, Director of Disability Services, discussed her office's approach.
