Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of eye hand and arm length coordination to the accuracy of throwing pointing in petanque sports. Analysis of the data used is the Pearson product moment correlation analysis technique and multiple analysis techniques to determine the relationship between two or more independent variables with one or more dependent variables. With hand eye coordination and arm length as the independent variable and pointing throw as the dependent variable. The sample of this study were 12 members of the petanque sports club in Sukabumi City. The sample is done using saturated sampling technique where the sample is the entire population, because the number is less than 30 people. The results of this study stated that the correlation results with y were obtained (2,262), Ho was rejected, and Ha was received with a contribution of 99.8%. And for the variable for y obtained (2,262), Ho is rejected, and Ha is received with a contribution of 99.6%. As for the results of the correlation with y obtained (4.26), Ho is accepted, which means there is no significant relationship between these variables and only contributes 25% to the accuracy of pointing and the remaining 75% is influenced by other variables.
