Abstract

A competitive ability of three R. japonicum strains, applied in multi-strain peat-base inoculants on the “Adepta”, “h 2 ”, and “Chippewa” soybean cultivars under field conditions, was found to be 311 B > D 216 > D 344. A high competitive ability of the inoculant 311 B strain did not correlate with its- effectivity. With the exception of the 311 B strain, the single-strain inoculants were generally better than the triple-strain mixture.
