Relationship between reduced ovarian complement and trisomy risk

Abstract

Although trisomic pregnancy is one of the key reasons that cause the abortion and fetus malformation, so far, the factors and the mechanism of the trisomic pregnancy are still poorly understood. Many studies show that the occurrence of the trisomic pregnancy is closely related to the ovarian reserve function. In this article, we introduce briefly the differences in ovarian reserve function between the women who have trisomic pregnancy and the control group, and discuss the related factors that cause the trisomic pregnancy.
