Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical nurse′s psychological capital and caring ability, and analyze their relationship between them. Methods The psychological capital questionnaire (PCQ) and caring ability rating form (CAI) were used to investigate 268 clinical nurses, and the relationship was analyzed between psychological capital and caring ability. Results The total score of PCQ was (81.44±14.13) and total score of CAI was (191.21±20.48); the psychological capital was positive correlated with caring ability (r=0.295-0.438, P<0.01). Conclusions The psychological capital and caring ability are low in clinical nurses, so nursing managers should focus on nurse′s psychological capital so as to enhance nurse′s caring ability.
