Abstract

The minimal dilatonic gravity (MDG) is a proper generalization of the Einstein general relativity (GR), which uses one gravitation-dilaton field \(\varPhi \), an offers a simultaneous explanation of the effects of dark matter and dark energy. We present an in depth research of the dark matter and dark energy effects in the interior of the non-rotating neutron star models in MDG. We use different realistic equations of state, which are in good agreement with the latest observational data. The equations describing relativistic static spherically symmetric stars are solved numerically for the different equations of state and we present results for the center and the edge of the stars.
