Abstract

Objective To summarize the relative factors of PICU poisoning,and then to propose some corresonding intervention measrues.Methods The age,onset season,poisoning symptom,poisoning substance,poisoning way,treatment,prognosis etc.of the poisoning children were retrospectively analyzed.The children were divided into a drug poisoning group and a non-drug poisoning group according to whether was drug poisoning.The different characteristics of the two groups were compared.Results The drug poisoning group had 81 patients,and the non-drug poisoning group 54 cases.There were no statistical differences in the poisoning manifestations and clinical examination between the two groups(P > 0.05).The cure rate and effectless rate of the non-drug poisoning group were 46.30% and 1.85%,respectively,which didn' t stattistically differ from that of the drug poisoning group (P > 0.05).However,there were statistical differences in the time of applying ventilator and blood purification time between the two groups (P < 0.05).The main poisoning factor was family poisoning (82.96%).Children from countryside had a high poisoning ratio (59.26%).81 cases were drug poisoning (60.00%).Conclusions According to the main characteristics of children poisoning,it propose that the parents manage the relevant chemical products well and have good command of the knowledge of correct drug use to reduce the poisoning risk in children.
