Abstract

The reform of practice teaching for civil engineering specialty in application-oriented institutions is the key of cultivating students’ abilities of comprehensively utilizing knowledge, practice and innovation. Considering from the aspects of construction of practical teaching staffs, construction of on and off-school practical training bases, relying on industry and local economy and integrating with qualification standards, specific measures of practice teaching reform for civil engineering specialty in application-oriented institutions are introduced and the issue of how to establish the practice teaching system for civil engineering specialty in application-oriented institutions is discussed.
