Abstract
We establish the regularities of the thermal diffusion saturation of VT22 two-phase titanium alloy with nitrogen combined with standard heat treatment. The kinetic specific features of the nitriding of VT22 (α + β)-alloy caused by the temperature and time parameters of treatment are analyzed. The influence of these parameters on the phase-structural state of the material and its relationship with the level of subsurface hardening and the depth of nitrided layer are determined
