Abstract

SUMMARY. — Regiomontanus owned a manuscript of John of Meurs' Quadripartitum numerorum, which he abundantly annotated to prepare an edition. These notes which reveal a strong euclidean culture he made on chapters issued from Leonard of Pisano's Liber Abaci. They are mainly typical by refusing, as frequently as possible, algebraïc solutions when problems can be solved with geometry or arithmetic.
