Abstract
Regimes of a wide-aperture laser with a layer of a heterogeneous medium with a nonlinear refractive index placed inside the cavity are considered. The conditions of bistability of the regimes with transversely uniform intensity are analyzed. The conditions of formation of spatial dissipative solitons in this laser are discussed.
