Abstract
This article relates a three voices debate about definitions and finalities of social work. From three points of view of various professional actors (sociocultural animation, specialized education and sociomedical professions) we examine both convergences and divergences but also on the complementarities at work in this field. More particularly this synthesis studies the questions of the training of the actors since it takes part to the formation (shaping) and the professionalisation of the various sectors represented.
