Abstract
The year 2020 was marked by several changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. One of them was the need for social isolation and, consequently, the adaptation of many workplaces to remote mode. Within the scope of the Regional Electoral Courts, some regulations established the provision of voter services online. This change impacted the implementation of actions foreseen in the Sustainable Logistics Plan (PLS-PJ) of these institutions, a mandatory instrument in the Judiciary since 2015. Based on this, this article aims to analyze how the activities integrated into the PLS of the Regional Electoral Courts of São Paulo and Pernambuco were influenced by the adoption of remote work mode and other implications of the pandemic. To do so, a qualitative documentary research was conducted, in which the performance reports of the Sustainable Logistics Plan for 2020 of the two mentioned institutions were analyzed. The results showed that the pandemic significantly affected all the indicators of the PLS of each of the studied courts. The majority of these indicators had a broad positive performance, especially in terms of quality of life actions. On the negative side, there was an increase in mobile phone expenses and the interruption of waste collection for recycling.
