Abstract

More and more countries have been forced to adopt strict sanitary, social and economic measures to fight coronavirus pandemic. Consequences are clearly more devastating in fragile contexts. Protection systems are key to mitigating effects of COVID-19 disease. Outcomes suggest the reform of fiscal policies and social benefits to redistribute wealth.
