Abstract
With the rapid development of my country’s economy and technology, the exchanges between my country and other countries have become closer. In the face of the new situation, traditional college English can no longer meet the requirements of international communication. Therefore, English for specific purposes has become a more important teaching subject in universities in our country, training high-quality English talents for the society. This article analyzes and discusses the connection between college English and English for specific purposes, and proposes corresponding solutions to improve the teaching quality of English for specific purposes in my country.
