Abstract

A mathematical model is presented and the aircraft control system is improved based on the results of flight tests, during which oscillations in the longitudinal channel are detected. The aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft, the characteristics of the electro-hydraulic and mechanical parts of its control system from the regression analysis and classical methods of the automatic adjusting theory are clarified. Compliance of the refined models with the flight tests results is checked and the control system is corrected. Keywords aircraft control system, flight tests, mathematical model, aerodynamic characteristics, regression analysis, transient process, transfer functions, frequency characteristics
