The energies of a number of selected inner shell atomic and molecular electronic transitions in the energy range 100–1000eV have been carefully remeasured for energy scale calibration in electron energy loss Spectroscopy. The measurements have been made using an inner shell electron energy loss spectrometer in conjunction with a digital voltmeter of high accuracy.
