Abstract
In connection with a cladistic study, type and other specimens of two species in Leptosphaeria (L. maculons, L. orae-maris), five species in Phaeosphaeria (P. eustoma, P. fuckelii, P. microscopica, P. sparsa P. typharum), Passeriniella obiones and Melanomma radicans were reexamined. Leptosphaeria orae-maris is transferred to Phaeosphaeria. Taxonomic placements of the other taxa are supported.
