Abstract

An accurate method is proposed to calculate volume integrals arising from integral equation (IE) analysis using the Schaubert-Wilton-Glisson (SWG) basis function (BF). The volume integral is transformed into a summation of some of line integrals. The dimension reduction is achieved using the divergence theorem twice. Finally, each line integral is evaluated using an accuracy-controllable quadrature rule. We compare our results with those generated by Mathematica. Good agreement is found, which verifies the effectiveness and correctness of our method.
