Abstract

The possibilities of introducing energy-saving technologies to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere while meeting the own needs of the combined heat and power plant (CHP) in thermal energy are considered. With the introduction of the considered energy-saving technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency of fuel consumption in the production of heat and electric energy, including the use of thermal energy for own needs through the heat supply system (in-plant heat networks), it is also possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from CHP plants.
