Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine depression, hopelessness level and marital adjustment of women diagnosed with recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL). This descriptive study included 66 RPL women. It was found that hopelessness level of 47% of women was mild, 18.2% of them were moderate, and 13.6% of them were severe. Depression level of women 30.3% were moderate, 24.3% of them were mild, and 1.5% of them were severe. It was found that women's marital adjustment was low, and their level of depression increased with increasing hopelessness. It was found in the study that evaluating women, who are diagnosed with RPL, regarding their marriage problems, hopelessness, and depression level together with their partners is important.
