Abstract
Recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS) is a common condition encountered by dermatologists that is often challenging to diagnose and treat. It has a wide differential diagnosis and has been associated with a variety of risk factors. This article describes a case of Evans syndrome presenting as isolated RAS and demonstrates the need for a broad workup to detect underlying systemic diseases.
