Abstract
At the end of July, the Senate Committee on Appropriations released a draft copy of the fiscal year (FY) 2023 funding which, like the House version (see Recovery set‐aside in approps bill for SAPT BG, ADAW July 19; https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adaw.33137), includes a recommendation for a 10% set‐aside in the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) block grant, and an additional $500 million for the SAPT block grant.
