Abstract
Abstract Taxus plants and conditions were as in I&A Report no. 469. Plants were sprayed 19 days (9 Aug) prior to this test, with 0.7 and 0.48 inches of rain on 10 and 22 Aug, respectively. The test consisted of 3 replicates with 8 weevils per replicate. The weevils were exposed to treated foliage for 24 h, and were then given untreated taxus foliage in clean petri dishes (3 inch diam). Eggs were counted at the end of the 7-day period. Eggs/weevil were based on the number of healthy weevils at the time the eggs were counted (after 7 days on the untreated foliage).
