Abstract
A conventional lens system is incorporated into a three-grating interferometer, producing a system for making 1-D dispersed holograms in white light. A hologram of a 2-D transparency was made so that in 1-D the object was imaged onto the hologram, whereas in the orthogonal dimension, the image formed some distance from the hologram plane.
