Abstract

Seventy recent works that examine ethical, social, legal, and policy issues in information and communication technology (ICT) are cited and annotated below. Each work has a publisher’s date of 2000 or later. For information about books published between 1997 and 2000, see the bibliographies printed in three earlier issues of Ethics and Information Technology: Vol. 1, No. 1 (1999); Vol. 2, No. 1 (2000); and Vol. 3, No. 1 (2001). A comprehensive list of books and articles published before 1997 is included in my Bibliography of Computing, Ethics, and Social Responsibility (http://cyberethics.cbi.msstate.edu/biblio/). For a select list of recent journal articles on ICT ethics, see my annual bibliographic updates in Computers and Society.1
