Abstract

Recent results from various heavy-ion SPS experiments are briefly discussed. Various observables, possibly affected by a quark-gluon plasma phase, are presented. Those data indicate strong interacting matter at the parton level and a thermalized system at the hadronic level. A short introduction into the future programs at RHIC and LHC is given.
