Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper consists of two parts. In the first part, some of the emerging changes in the field of bibliography in Germany and their possible effects on the German Union Catalogue of Serials (the Zeitschriftendatenbank, or ZDB) and its cataloguing manual, ZETA, are illustrated. In the second part, practical questions regarding the cataloguing of databases and back-file title collections are discussed.
