Abstract

Novel kinds of amperometric glucose sensor based on chemically modified electrode have been designed and fabricated. By using metalloporphyrin modified electrode for measurement of dioxygen during enzyme reaction of a glucose sensor, it greatly improves the sensitivity and selectivity of glucose detection; Modified microelectrode and microdisk array electrodes made of carbon fibers show more rapid response to the variation of glucose concentration. Ferrocene-Nafion film electrode in glucose sensor plays an important role for increasing the stability.
