Abstract
Congenital cystic kidney disease is usually classified according to Potter types I–IV. Using real-time renal sonography, neonates with suspected congenital cystic kidney disease may be identified. Correlating sonography results with the Potter classification aids in selection of additional diagnostic imaging modalities.
