Abstract

Early parental decisions about genital surgery in children born with atypical genitalia is the most controversial area of pediatric urology today. Parental decisional regret (DR), measured by the DR Scale (DRS), is one way of assessing parental perceptions of their decisions. Fisher et al. assessed DR among 55 parents of girls with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) undergoing genital surgery in childhood, illustrating several important points [ [1] Fisher R.S.
